How To Search The Brick Database
To search the online database for
a specific brick or range of bricks, click 'Brick Search' from
the main menu bar. This will take you to the Brick Search
page. This page contains 7 fields in which you may select various
brick criteria. The fields are:

Manufacturing Type |

Obviously, if you do not enter any criteria, the database
will be unable to find any brick matches. Therefore, it is
compulsory that you enter the brick size.
All other criteria boxes are optional but obviously, your
search will be more refined if you can complete as many of
them as possible.
When you select an option from a criteria box it will
become highlighted.
If you make an error and wish to begin a new brick search,
click 'Reset'.
When you finish entering your search
criteria, click 'Search'. AllBricks will search its online
database for all the bricks matching your criteria and present
you with a page titled Search Results.
Brick Search Tips + Tricks
If you are looking for a specific brick, your search will
be more refined if you can complete as many of the criteria
boxes as possible.
If you are looking for a range of bricks, complete only
those criteria boxes associated with your criteria.
Eg: If searching for a red brick,
select red only from the colour criteria box and no other
brick colours and criteria. AllBricks will match all bricks in
the database that are red –irrespective of texture,
manufacturing type… or any other criteria.
To view every brick in the database, select every brick
size from the size criteria box and click Search.
Viewing Brick Matches
Having submitted your brick search criteria, you will be
presented with a Search Results page. This page informs you
how many bricks from the brick database match your search
criteria.
Only 3 bricks are displayed per page. To view more brick
matches produced by your search, click on the page numbers at
the bottom of the screen.
To enlarge a brick image, click on the relevant
thumbnail.
To begin a new brick search, click 'Brick search'.
To see more comprehensive information on a brick, click
'Zoom To Technical Details'.
To view a brick with a selection of different mortar
colours, click 'Change Mortar'
To submit a brick selection for a pricing quotation via e-mail, click
on 'Add to Pricing'.
To submit a brick selection for comparison with other
bricks, click 'Add to Brick Comparison'.
Viewing Brick Technical Details
To see more comprehensive information on a particular
brick, click
' Zoom To Technical Details'. You
will be presented with a page titled Brick Details. This page
contains larger images of the bricks as well as more detailed
technical information.
To begin a new brick search, click 'Brick Search'.
To return to your previous search page and continue
searching, click Search Results.
To view this brick with a selection of different mortar
colours, click 'Change Mortar'. Alternatively, you may click on
the brick image.
To submit this brick selection for a pricing quotation
via e-mail, click on 'Add to Pricing'.
To submit this brick selection for comparison with
other bricks, click 'Add to Brick Comparison'.
Changing The Brick Mortar
To view a brick with a selection of different mortar
colours, click 'Change Mortar'. Alternatively, you may click on
the brick image. You will be presented with a Mortar Selection
page containing a large image of the brick and a selection of
different mortar colours to choose from.
To view the brick with different mortar colours, click on
the mortar colour image of your choice.
To begin a new brick search, click 'Brick Search'.
To return to your previous search page and continue
searching, click 'Search Results'
To see more comprehensive information on this brick, click
'Brick Technical Details'.
To submit only the selected brick for a pricing quotation
via e-mail, select 'Brick Only' and then click 'Add Selected To
Pricing'
To submit only the selected mortar colour for a pricing
quotation via e-mail, select 'Mortar Only' and then click 'Add
Selected To Pricing'.
To submit both the selected brick and mortar colour for a
pricing quotation via e-mail, select 'Brick And Mortar' and then
click 'Add Selected To Pricing'.
To submit this brick selection for comparison with other
bricks, click 'Add to Brick Comparison'.
